Cook Islands 2007
This web page was created for the purpose of a dream-come-through
trip
we, the family Glasø Faltinsen, made to the South Pacific in 2007.
At the time Maria was 9 (4th grade) and Erlend was 13 (8th grade).
We left Trondheim, Norway, on April 1 2007 and returned back home
on August 13. The first three weeks we toured areound New Zealand with
a campervan. The rest of the time was spent on Cook Islands. We rented
a house on the main island Rarotonga and had a truly amazing time in
our new tropical paradise. For our children we did home schooling and
had good communication with school back home. That worked just fine.
We wrote a blog from the trip. It is all in Norwegian,
but the pictures can be understood by anyone :)
